Hacks
We offer horse riding sessions or "Hacks" for riders of all levels, which are supervised by our experienced and knowledgeable staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get off the beaten track and see a side of Tenerife that is seen by few tourists. As we make our way through the Caldera del Rey to the mountains, you will see a real working farm and banana plantation that has changed little over the years. Here the workers are tending to the growth of tomatoes, avocados, oranges, palms of various species and of course, bananas.
At the edge of the farm we choose a track leading up into the mountains and into the peace and tranquillity of real Tenerife countryside. Here you can see a variety of wild cacti and flowers and as the altitude rises, spectacular views all the way down to the sea.
There are a variety of routes to choose from depending on experience and season. Treks last from 1 to 2 hours and cost 30 euros for 1 hour and 50 euros for 2. Maximum four riders per guide. There are discounts available to residents who wish to book regular sessions. Please contact us for details.
